The Chaser

The misanthropic ex-cop Joong-ho, who was suspended from duty after a corruption affair, now earns his money as a pimp. When one by one his call girls disappear, he first suspects that they have simply made off. But then he notices a pattern: Each girl has the same phone number listed as her last customer. Since his former colleagues at the police department don't want to follow up the trail, Joong-ho starts an investigation on his own. But time is running out, because his last remaining call girl, the young single mother Mi-jin, has also fallen into the clutches of the killer Young-min.
